Give Us The Floor (GUTF) is a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth in distress through our anonymous peer support platform, delivered through a free and secure mobile app.
260+ youth have completed our peer support training

Serving Teen community ages 13-17 and Young Adult community ages 18-24
With this dinner, we’re breaking ground on building a new circle of support in Palm Springs to strengthen and lengthen GUTF’s operational runway in 2027. With your support, we can strengthen and expand our program operations, create new opportunities for youth to earn valuable leadership experience, and continue to deliver life-saving interventions to youth across the US, 24/7.
We’re bringing great minds together to help us make a plan to raise $250K over the next year. We think of this like a love letter from Palm Springs to 2SLGBTQIA+ youth across the US that says:

FIRST FUNDRAISER MILESTONE:
$5,000: Cover One Full Year of Youth Advisory Board Stipends
Currently, all eight members of the Youth Advisory Board (ages 14-26) volunteer their time through quarterly meetings, subcommittee actions, and other support to help ensure that youth voices are centered in organizational programming, service, and outreach strategies. Meanwhile, many of our youth are working multiple jobs, collecting student loans, and in some cases, receiving SNAP benefits to make ends meet.
Having the capacity to offer paid Board positions will go a long way to ensuring not only that our YAB members can afford to maintain their roles for the full year, but that they will be fully engaged to follow-through on their Board responsibilities and better serve the GUTF community.
Additional Support Levels
$2,500: Support 10 Youth for a Full Year
Provide critical peer-support programming for ten 2SLGBTQIA+ youth to give them a safe space to feel heard, seen, and supported — building resilience, coping skills, and confidence that they carry into their everyday lives.
$1,500: Ensure Crisis Response Support for a Month
Cover one month of crisis support and resource triaging from clinical mental health professionals for youth experiencing acute distress.
Help us reach vulnerable youth across the US through targeted online outreach and printed materials distributed at events and with local partners.
